Dad and Kathy were kind enough to come talk to Alex's class for about 40 minutes about Australia. At Alex's school, each grade studies a different continent all year, and first graders study Australia. The kids loved it, and dad did a great job. You would think he talks to first graders all day long, it was awesome. (Although for those of you that don't know, dad volunteers at a school in Orem and meets with the same two kids each week and teaches them to read, how sweet is that?) They all had questions for him afterwards too. While dad spoke about Australia in general and life on a farm, and different animals that are there, etc, Kathy talked about schools and the uniforms, etc. They are a good combo. Ask them to come to your kids school (if you live in the state...) if your kids ever study Australia!
